The Estate Office, Englefield Estate Yard, The Street, Englefield, Reading, Berkshire RG7 5ES

From M4 (Reading West) exit at Junction 12 and take A4 towards Newbury. At second roundabout take A340 towards Pangbourne, pass the main gates on the left and at the next crossroads turn left into The Street (signposted ‘Englefield’). The entrance to the Englefield Estate Yard will be found approximately ½ mile along The Street on the right hand side just before the Fire Station. Follow the signposts for the Estate Office Visitors Car Park.

From Newbury take A4 towards Reading, on approaching Theale take A340 to Pangbourne. Pass the main gates on the left and at the next crossroads turn left into The Street (signposted ‘Englefield’). The entrance to the Englefield Estate Yard will be found approximately ½ mile along The Street on the right hand side just before the Fire Station. Follow the signposts for the Estate Office Visitors Car Park.

Exit at junction 12 of the M4 take the A4 in the Newbury direction, go straight across first roundabout, at the next roundabout take the A340 towards Pangbourne, after approx half a mile take the 2nd left in to Englefield Village. At the end of the village turn right onto the drive and follow the signs to the Long Gallery car park.

(For special occasions and days on which the gardens are open, the house can be accessed via the ornamental gates and drive. This is 400 yds prior to the Englefield Village turning, also on the left.) 

Directions to The Forestry Office
 

Forestry Yard, Mortimer West End. Berkshire RG7 3UA

From M4 exit at junction 12 for Reading take the A4 in the Newbury direction, straight across at the first and second roundabouts, following the A4 towards Newbury. Turn left onto the minor road just before the Spring Inn. Follow the road through Ufton Nervet where it turns sharp right and then sharp left. Do not turn off the road. Keep going until you reach the T junction with the Padworth Common to Burghfield Common road. Turn right then first left. Follow the road to the T junction with Welshmans Road, at the T junction turn right and the forestry office can be found immediately on the left.

From Newbury approaching Theale on the A4, pass the Braeburn Lodge Care Home on the left hand side then take the next right just after the Spring Inn onto the minor road. Follow the directions above.
