This year’s revived Englefield Village Fete and Flower Show is being held on Saturday 11th September from 2pm and will be a great opportunity for the community to come together and showcase their talents.
Until 2019, the event has been held annually in July and has traditionally been one of the highlights of the village’s social calendar. With the event cancelled due to the pandemic last year, we are delighted that the committee are relaunching the event in September this year.
The list of classes includes floristry, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts, photography and art, so there is something for everyone to get involved with. There are also plenty of classes for children including crafts, cookery and handwriting.
Entries for this year’s competitions and exhibits are currently open, submit your entries by 8th September to get the early bird discount.
All abilities are welcome and we encourage everyone to get involved - feel free to spread the news to relatives and friends who are also welcome to enter!
Download the full schedule here and you can download the online entry form here.
Entries are welcome via email and should be sent to efsentry@gmail.com. Paper entry forms can also be delivered to the Englefield Stores and Tea Rooms. You will be required to deliver your exhibits between 9am and 11am on 11th September.
The event is being held on the Englefield Primary School playing field and will include tractor rides, a bouncy slide, stalls, refreshments and BBQ. There is something for all ages, so invite your friends and family!
